I was so pleased with the way our ceremony was written using our own words mixed in with Reverend John's to create our beautiful story. Everyone commented on how beautiful it was and how it really represented us perfectly. Reverend John also has such a wonderful, calming presence that really helped me to shake off the pre-wedding jitters and with just a look. He helped me to regroup during the ceremony when my emotions took over. Even though we had only met via email, on that day I felt like he had known us all of our lives. Thank you, Reverend John, for a powerful anointed sermon and for your prayers. I wanted to send you this picture of the little girl Jesus healed of Cerebral Palsy at the crusade you preached in Calabar. We have seen many miracles here in Africa. This one Jesus did is especially special to my church and to my people because it was one of our own, who we know, and who we have prayed for many times. I thank God for your ministry.

 

My people here in Calabar seldom hear anyone teach on speaking in tongues. The first day of the conference, after Pastor Inegu's prophetic message and the call he gave for salvation here at our home church in Calabar, I thought, "How amazing it is to see people come to Jesus." We had 36 people come to the alter. Praise God! What was even more amazing is the response you got from your message to my people at the conference. The only time we see so many people come to the alter after a sermon is at a big crusade like the one we had in Aba. After your message on tongues and the call for salvation, over 200 people came to the alter. What moved me the most is when I saw the old lady walking slowly with her cane at the end of the line as people came forward. People were praying and crying at the altar and some began to speak in other tongues. Still, while this was taking place you took the time to call out to her over the speakers. I remember you saying, "Mama, take your time. Don't try to hurry. The power of the Holy Spirit is here. Jesus will wait for you. He loves you so. And we will wait for you, as long as is necessary.” The sermon was powerful and the anointing was there. God bless you and may he keep anointing you. Merci Rev. John pour ton service. Le France est surtout un pays catholique. La necessite d’entendre l’Evangile de Jesus-Christ ici est tres necessaire. Je ressens une grande tristesse a cause de l'extremeisme dans notre pays. Votre sermon sur la guerre spirituelle est rarement entendu dans les eglises ici. Je n'oublierai pas, "Car les armes avec lesquelles nous combattons ne sont pas simplement humaines; elles tiennent leur puissance de Dieu qui les rend capables de renverser des forteresses. Reverend John. Thank you for speaking to us about the need for salvation. This is heard to hear from my family. My brother Amad was killed four year ago, by someone in my family, because he believed in Jesus. We do not talk about it at home. For me, I am very afraid. I know God love me. And, I believe Jesus is my savior. But I am afraid to tell anyone. It is hard go to from Palestinian section here in Jerusalem to Christian section to go to church. Pray for me that God keep me safe. I want to make Christian friends and want to go to church. God bless you!
