Our desire is that you give out of what you have and not what you do not have, the motivation for giving should be your love for God and a desire to help this ministry. We very much appreciate every gift we receive as we do our part to increase and strengthen the Body of Christ.
For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what a man hath, and not according to that he hath (2 Corinthians 8:12).
The New Testament shows us two ways for giving:
Steward principals found in Luke Chpt. 15-20, as given to us by our Lord, is to "listen for His voice; if you hear Him, give as He directs you. These principals are about what He wants you to give."
The other New Testament way, "if you don't hear Him tell you an amount, it is up to you to purpose in your own heart what you would like to give. Do not give grudgingly or out of necessity or because you have to. Give to spread the Good News, leading people to salvation through Jesus, bringing a revival of sound doctrine, healings and miracles, and strengthening the Body of Christ.
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7).
